Solar Power

Solar power functions by converting sunlight into usable energy. Two types of solar energy are generated from the sun: photovoltaic (PV) solar technology, which directly converts sunlight into electricity using panels made of semiconductor cells, and concentrating solar thermal power (CSP), which harnesses the sun's heat. This heat can be used directly or converted into mechanical energy.
